Estimation of Petrophysical Properties for Zubair Reservoir in Abu-Amood Oil Field

The petrophysical analysis is significant to determine the parameters controlling production wells and reservoir quality. In this study, Using Interactive petrophysics software analyze of five penetrated Zubair in Abu-Amood field evaluate a search for hydrocarbon zones. available logs data such as density, sonic, gamma ray, SP, neutron, resistivity AAm-1, AAm-2, AAm-3, AAm-4, AAm-5 were used properties reservoir. density-neutron neutron-sonic cross plots, which appear lines with porosity scale ticks, are distinguish between three main lithologies sandstone, limestone, dolomite. corrected ray log was all shale volume. Neutron-sonic calculate at unit while sonic employed estimate poor hole conditions (non- units). Furthermore, Indonesia model water saturation compared Archie model. Finally, Flow zone indicator method permeability evaluation. results show that primarily consists compacted improved by cuttings description report. core validated AMM-1, AMM-2, AMM-3and AMM-5 wells. equation provides an optimum estimation shaly sand zones since takes matrix conductive fluid conductivity into account. Four hydraulic flow units produced from quality index against normalized plot obtained equations porosity- relationship data. general interpretation presented most hydrocarbons located depth (3332.8 m 3415.8 m) represents best layer reservoir, well AMM-1better than AMM-2. 3574.8 to3638.3 supposed be rather layer.
